Arcanist bane Brand?

this is literally the only thing i want to try out since i think the rework of brands makes it sound it's total crap right now. hope i'm work about it though.

Arcanist Brand with Arc sounds silly. Why not just play Storm Brand then? Plus Arcanist Brand will shorten Arcs' chaining range as well, as per todays' post.

You want to use Arcanist Brand to setup chain spells. If you use it as a single spell you may as well use the single spell.
i.e. ED + Contagion ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ NERF ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ NERF ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ NERF ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ

Bane arcansit brand would just keep overwriting itself, as only one bane dot on a mob at a time, not a good use of arcanist brand.
Soulrend might be a possibility, its super short duration dot, if one tweaked ones cast time, to have the brand surges be just right for refreshing the dot. Dunno. I think slow cast time, hard hitting spells, will be the go to, for arcanist brand. We will see. |
