prices for JUNK items
Hello,
I am somehow fresh player :) i am playing as necromancer and in future i will try to craft my own 2h weapon with minions modifiers (area of effect, +2 minions sockets etc) and i want to get "craft enchantment" - Minion Attack and Cast speed (rank 3) (unless i will geto 20-30 exa xD) after 3 hours i bought maybe 15 items (weapons) for 3-5 alteration. However while searching between all offers i got many responses like "3c" (or higher!) some of them were furious that i dare to offer so low prices :P anyway maybe i am wrong... IMO there are much better option for players especially uniques that often cost less than 3c, even few alteration or orbs of fusing. Could you tell me - does items for unveiling (and vendoring them) should cost that much? or i am stupid to feel their potential? example of items 1. Vall sceptre (64lvl) 32% inc elemental dmg, 71% inc phys dmg, 13% DoT multiplier, adds 1-3 cold dmg - 10 chaos 2. Tyrant's sekhem - 26% inc elemental dmg, 18% reduced attr req, 29% incr fire dmg, 19% stun threshold - 20 chaos 3. Phantom mace (53) - 10% reduced enemy threshold add 9-18 fire and 37-80 cold dmg, +5 life gained for each enemy hit by attacks - when i offered 5 alt - i got response 5c 4. Dread Maul 30% increased stund duration +10 fire resi, 0.24% leech life from physical dmg - 800 perandus coins (~ 7 chaos) and much much much more. OFC i hadn't send offers to peoples who has so big asking price (exception to perandus guy) Thank You! And sorry if i offended anyone with this post or my "buying behaviour" Last bumped on May 21, 2020, 11:57:41 PM

There's not much concept of appropriate pricing on xbox, unfortunately.
Add me and I'll get you gear to start mapping with. |

" You say items are expensive but you forget you can (easily) make 5c/map running white alch and go and that's not even including the loot from the league mechanic. In regard to veiled items, they're not so common once you've used all your betrayal missions (and I think most people use them all). The other thing is, veiled items don't usually get put on the market so if someone does, they can charge a little more. I won't even put an item in a trade tab if it is worth less than 15-20c because I can likely make more currency running maps in the time it takes me to price an item, put it in the tab, return from map to accept /decline and then go back into map. For this reason I've never sold veiled items and if I did it would be something with good stats and the potential for the veil to make it really good and in this case I'd sell it for a reasonable price. |

" you're experienced and lucky too :) i am playing 5+ maps daily and most valuable thing i "made" and sell was a large cluster jewel for 30chaos. most of them i sell to vendors to make alt orb and then change those for chaos :) and later for exa. i got plenty of not bad items - few good one but i cannot sell them :p i think i will vendor them later ;D anyway i need to learn the market of Poe, as i always do in any mmorpg, but here the market is...somehow sick :) also still i cannot find proper one veil modifier on any weapon. I unveiled many (20?maybe 30?) of them, three other modifiers i have maxed but still i cannot make minion one (found just ONCE!) |

i wouldn't worry about people that post junk that should be vendored for 5 exalts. They won't sell them, nobody would ever buy it.
I see people all of the time finding one overpriced lifesprig on the market and screenshotting it and it's price of 5 ex because some noob has no idea that it's only worth a chaos and they say "see, the PS4 market is sooo bad because of this!" Like no, go find one of the 50 others that are listed for 1 chaos and buy that instead. Those people aren't ever going to make any currency and probably say stuff like "this game sucks, I can't make enough currency and everything is expensive." If you know what you are doing, it's extremely easy to make hundreds and hundreds of exalts every league without any gimmicks, tricks or crafting methods. Some people that do those things make way more than me probably too. |
