Game keeps minimizing at full screen

This has been happening recently for the past week. Never happened before in the year I have been playing.

Game randomly minimizes. Not sure it's my computer or the game, but thought I should mention it in case other people are having the same issue.

I have two monitors but the game runs fullscreen (non-windowed) on only one. It happened a few times that the mouse was not caught in the full screen application. Thus I managed to accidently click on the other monitor which minimized the game.

1. has not happened for a long time (months)
2. probably a windows/directx bug, not the game, as there are many results if you google for the problem, all with different games each.

Make sure you are not using windowed-fullscreen.

Other than that, if it happens frequently, you can disable the other monitor in your windows settings while gaming. I even have hotkeys for this because I'm playing on my notebook.

If disabling the other monitor does not help, you must have some app installed that grabs the focus (and thus minimizes any fullscreen program)

Thank you for your suggestions and input! I am using fullscreen mode. I'm going to try changing some settings on my laptop. I did recently install a new antivirus, AVG, so that may be the cause.
