How to play the Delirium League content in Standard with your old chars (Delirium Maps & Simulacrum)

Hello everyone,

I recently published a video as a showcase for my written Cobra Lash Guide in these forums, using my old Blight League Poison Assassin character on a 100% Delirium T16 map. Afterwards a few people asked me to make a guide on how to access the Delirium League content in Standard League.
It's quite mindboggling that you are actually able to play the League content during the leagues time in Standard League already, so I understand the curiousity of everyone who asked.

Here is the explanation:
Characters from the current temporary league (Delirium in this case) are transferred to the Standard League if they die. Alongside with the char, all their worn equipment and inventory is also transferred to Standard (aswell as items in the crafting bench and Jun unveil...). This enables the transfer of League content items to Standard League. In other Leagues this method was used to bring annointed Amulets or Catalysts to Standard. These items were valueable but didn't allow you to play the league content in Standard. In this league however, the Delirium Orbs enable you to create Delirium maps and in these Maps you can collect Simulacrum Splinters to access the Simulacrum (ofc these splinters/key can also be transferred). So this enables you to actually enjoy the current league content with all your old characters that are collecting dust in Standard League.

While I really enjoy this and think Standard is better then ever during this leagues time, I think the system to move dead HC chars to standard instead of softcore league is a mistake. If it was my decision, I'd make dead HC league chars transfer to the current temporary softcore league.

People would exploit it by transferring stuff from HC to SC and further destroy the economy.
Most likely this will never be changed, and it shouldn't.

What would be easier to access in HC then in SC? Do you have any examples? In my opinion it's much more of an exploit to bring current league content into standard, where it normally isn't accessible.

Edit: The economy in HC is much more healthy then the SC economy, because simple farming bots can't exist (survive) in HC.
