Best of Trade & Self found in One; Craft Your Drop Chances Instead of Directly Buying Items.

Trading would not give the actual Item but instead a consumable (or socketing in specific interface w/e) that grant drop chance of same base Item, rarity and chance to get specific affix until you get it. In other words you buy base item and affix drop chances.

Let's say you want to sell a Magic pair of Sorcerer Boots with Tier1 +%movement Speed and Tier3 energy shield. A magic Item have a minimum of one Affix so the buyer get to choose one stats that would be granted. Buyer want to pick movement speed, the Magic Sorcerer boots you will trade will actualy be something like ''+10% chance to find Magic Sorcerer Boot with Tier 1 movement speed''. Buyer could then buy an other Sorcerer Boot with tier 1 energy Shield so he now have chances to get both stats on the gear.

Drop chances would be stackable but with diminishing returns, maybe it could starts to +10% chance and each addition gives one less, topping the max drop chances to 55% with 10 pieces bought. To continue with exemples above we could end up with 19% chance to find Sorcerer Boot, 10% chance it have tier 1 +%energy Shield and 10% chance they have Tier 1 movement speed. As soon as you find an item with the promised stat, the drop chance wear off.

Rare item have a minimum of 3 Affix so the buyer of Rare Sorcerer boots get to chose 3 affix from offered Item to get chances to find Sorcerer Boot with those stats. Of course there is always a chance you drop the Rare Sorcerer boots with only one or two of the stats and other crap affix so you have to carefully plan ahead

Possible Effects on Market and gamplay:

It grant more fun getting items yourself

Market is still a good way to get specific gear

It become easier to sell stuff:
- Because it take multiple drop bonus to have a good chance of dropping the right combinaison of affixes
- Because the buyer don't care of crappy affix on the gear

Currency more used for crafting because you can’t buy a item with the 4-6 affix you wanted

Probably affecting starter build, progression and end game build
