Paysafe how do I use it?
Thinking of buying some stash tabs. Always try to avoid using bank card details on line so thought of getting some cash out and buying a paysafe card.
How does the paysafe card work? Doing a dry run and pressing the paysafe button come up with a window showing " Do really I need to create a paysafe account? What is the paysafe email address they are refering to? Can’t I just use what ever details are on the card I would have brought for cash? Typically a Paysafecard is purchased to top up the balance on a Paysafecard account, and then that account (incl. it's e-mail address) is used to purchase things online.
Some payment processors treat a Paysafecard account as optional, some don't. "VPs are not required to change their posting style. They are still welcome to express their opinions and take part in any discussions they wish. Their only responsibility is to continue doing what they have always done - posting in a friendly and constructive manner."

Thanks for the reply.
Did a search on Paysafecard and I have never seen such bad reviews for anything before. Other methods don`t seem to fair that well either. Phoned the bank to see about using my card, since payment is not in local currency they charge 2.75% and an unfavourable exchange rate. Looking like will have to press on without the extra tabs. Pity. Last edited by AnyNick#2178 on Feb 22, 2020, 12:02:52 PM

" Does the xsolla payment option give you better choice? They support very large number of countries and many banks. Depending on the bank, they either have immediate payment option (you will be presented your bank e-account login page with all the payment information pre-filled, and you just confirm the payment) if your bank supports it, or they give you account to trasfer money to along with identifying information (bit more risky as you need to copy paste the information properly, otherwise you would have to contact their support), usually the account number is within same bank so transfer is fast*. I was using this method long time ago as it in most cases offered superior conversion rates, but the downside for it is that the payment was processed only during bank working hours in case of transfer option. |

What country are you from? Terms differ between them, e.g. Germany requires you to have an account for payments over €50 (iirc) because of German anti-money-laundering laws. I currently live in Austria, used paysafecards before and never had to register an account - probably should at some point, though, because you'll always have money left on a card which gets annoying to manage after a while...

From the UK.
Spent quite a lot of time researching the different methods offered. Most of the cards paysafe karma koin etc had very very bad reviews both for the store brought versions and online purchased ones. Some of the paysafe online retailers showed them as out of stock. Since you just buy a code sent by e-mail that aroused some suspicions. Other online retailers were offering $25 karma cards for less than $25.Not sure how that works but sounds even more dodgy. Seemed the Paypal Amazon route required you to have a USD account with them. Why would I want a USD account :( Dont, believe it or not, have a mobile/smart phone, must be the only person alive that dosent so the “pay by phone” was not an option. May have to get one eventually as nearly every organisation seem to require you to, but I am resisting. All other option showed amount as USD and wanted to do it in £. In the end used an Visa Card that I rarely use so if it gets blocked or scammed it wouldn't be to inconvenient. Transaction went through with no problem and xsolla seemed to have taken the money in £ not $ so no bank charge or silly exchange rate but wont be sure until the transaction shows up on my bank account. As a side issue brought a “ First Blood Pack ” pack. The pack stated you get an extra stash tab. You don't, it just turns a readonly tab to a read/write tab. So not a nice clean fresh one. A bit naughty of GGG I thought. Also still can’t kill the Conquerors so can’t blame it on not having enough stash tabs anymore. Need to find another excuse. |

Sorry for the confusion AnyNick, if you have any "Remove Only" tabs and you purchase/receive a new standard or premium tab, this will replace the "Remove Only" tab and will make it fully functional. The system randomly picks which tabs will be replaced.
