Help me craft a ring, im not very good at crafting

Hi guys, this is the first time i attempt at crafting something higher than the typical alt and go items , i think i am having a good ring to craft but i don't know where to go from here, what is the next step?
For the record, i would love to land a cold resist, minion dmg and live, then maybe (just maybe) use an awekener orb for an extra perk on the ring.
So, this is the ring in question:

How should i do?
Block suffix, then use a delve powerful chaotic resonator craft, or what to do?
Ty to anyone who would take time to help me with this, be sure is very much appreciated and very very much needed.

Fossils would reroll the whole thing so don't use them

yes, even then.
So, i just regal then and hope for a good roll?

an awakener orb will also reroll most of the ring.

awakener orb takes 1 influence mod from item A, and 1 influence mod from item B, puts the both on item B, and gives you 2-4 other random mods.

if your plan is to use an awakeners orb, STOP NOW.

if you are ok with the ring right now, your next step is Regal. after regal, post it again and ask for more suggestions.

use the scouring then you can use chromatic on it for white socket. I think it's really good the white color.

Yes regal. You can craft cold resistance after that. Alt-spamming works this way, and that's why alt-spamming to make something good involves spending a LOT of alternations, including starting over again if you're really not happy with the regal. This is balanced by the comparatively low price of alternations, since you'll have to spend a lot of them. After regaling and crafting, use a regular exalt and hope for the best. You can use crafts to somewhat restrict what that exalt can roll - if you fill out all prefixes for example, then it'll only roll a suffix, and if you use a meta-craft, it won't roll whatever stuff you've restricted. Another option is to meta-craft the multiple crafts mod after regaling - then you can just put whatever other crafts you want (assuming they're available on the crafting bench).

The other option you've mentioned - fossils - doesn't start with blue items, but rather straight up manipulates rares (it's basically a better, more focused version of chaos spamming). So not appropriate here.

And the conquerors exalts are used when you're only after 1 or 2 special mods, with the rest being irrelevant (unless you want to spend obscene amounts of currency to try tailoring them too - this is only done by experienced crafters who make mirror-worthy gear). You CAN use an awakener's orb, along with another ring with a different influenced mod you want, to get yourself a double influenced ring with the two influence mods - vulnerability from this and whatever influenced mod was on the other - but the rest of the stats will be randomized. Just fyi, the awakeners orb guarantees rolling the influenced mods it chooses from the two items it's used on - and you can guarantee it picks the influenced mods you want by using it on items with only one influenced mod - but it also rerolls everything else. So unless you can find a ring mod from another influence type that you really want, even at the cost of the rest of the stats potentially being trash, don't go that route. It's also, of course, horribly expensive and so not advised unless you know what you're doing.

thank you so much about this detail info, it helped me alot, the item "somehow" bricked, i managed to get the chance to curse vulnerability on bit (+8) and the cold resist(40%) as suffixes, as prefix i got evasion tho, very useless
I am wondering, maybe i can change that prefix into an another prefix, atm im in process of youtubing as the game doesnt tell me much how to
I badly need to get rid of the vulnerability + brutality combo curse in my chest piece so, i think ill just use an exalt, hoping for life , strenght or es.
Im not swarming in curency , just 4 exalts atm so im kinda limited at this

That evasion roll really killed the ring for me , man, dunno how to get rid of it, anything would be better than evasion (for my build) really

That evasion isn't hurting you, so you can just ignore it as a wasted mod. Given the sheer number of possibilities, it's kinda unrealistic to expect a perfect item in this game - instead try to make the best of what you can get.

In this case, think of that evasion as just a random prefix. And the vulnerability is a suffix, with cold res being a second suffix. So if you craft another suffix, then any exalt use on the ring will have to roll a prefix (assuming you actually want any of them). Alternately, you've already managed to get yourself cold resist, which you wanted, but lost the ES that was there before. But you can craft that ES instead, or life if you prefer that, giving you a ring with vulnerability on hit, defenses and the resist you wanted. Strength is also available as a crafted mod. Not bad, imo. If you want to spend more, you always have the option of exalting or multi-crafting as well.

If you only have 4 ex, and are not sure about crafting, I'd highly advise you don't blow that all away on the conqueror's exalts. But if you really want to try them, look through the influenced ring mods available here and see if any of them really appeal to you (even to the extent of not caring much about the rest of the mods) - https://poedb.tw/us/mod.php?cn=Ring

P.S.: Btw, if you haven't noticed those craftable mods I spoke of (ES, life, strength), and don't see them on your crafting bench, it might be that you haven't unlocked them yet by finding the recipe (the bench will tell you where that is - just scroll down to all the greyed out crafts). Also if the values of them that you see on your crafting bench are smaller than the ones shown in the crafting bench section of that link above, it might be that you simply haven't unlocked the highest craftable tier of those mods - again look amongst the greyed out mods for where those recipes are.

That site is a great resource to see all the mods that various items can have btw, consider bookmarking it if you haven't already. If you want to try fossil crafting, you can also checkmark the fossils above the mod list to see how that influences what can and cannot roll, and which mods get boosted odds.
