Mines never proc Zealotry consecrated ground

I couldn't find any information on this, but I've noticed that the consecrated ground never procced from zealotry (10% chance vs rare/unique monster on hit) when using mines.

To check, I used a lv 1 arc (self cast) with zealotry and got the proc.

I then linked it with a blastchain mines support and never got a proc after 40+ hits

Is this a mechanic for mines? Seems like a kick in the nuts
