Newbie Delver - What I've learned so far with a zhp build

Hello guys! So today I wanted to share some of my experienced and what I've learned about deep delving as a newbie to delve.

Before I start, I would give some of my info out first. I am not a full time gamer or streamer or anything. My deepest depth on last league was only about 350+, so this league I tried to pushed myself trying to deep delve on this league.

Currently I am only on depth 720+, not that deep, but I just wanted to learn, try and experience a zhp build myself. I will also give out some of my experience before I swap to zhp build.

My tank delver - LL Cold snap Vortex Trickster
My deep delver - Ice shot Mines Deadeye

I am attempting to push to more than 1k on this league.

=======================================================================

What I've learnt from my mistakes
1. Flask management is important
I couldn't believe how important flask management is on deep delve, even you forgot to activate 1 flask, the impact could be huge. The most important flask you need to keep on is the Quicksilver Flask, if that flask is down and you don't have enough time to recharge it, you are basically ded. DED.

2. Maintaining speed and flask charges
This is so important, the first time i started to use my zhp build it was not optimized for it yet but I still tried it, I couldn't believe how impactful is when you don't have speed and you can't maintain your speed (for example stopping to shoot, etc.) can get you killed so often. You have to balance out killing monsters and running at the same time to maintain your flask charges and your speed.

3. Layout reading
I am still bad at this on some biomes, but imagine running into dead ends constantly, the chances of you getting killed is so high just because you read it wrong. Once I've ran into a dead end and then got caught offguard by a screamer because whenever I ran to the wrong place, it is the same as losing your speed.

Also, when arrived to the node, you must quickly read through the node, recognize the layout, the safe spot, which spot is dangerous, where you shouldn't go etc. This will ensure that your chances of dying is low if you mastered this.

4. Dynamite is useful
I was actually surprised how useful this little thing is, most of us only know this thing just to break walls, but this thing is actually have other usage and is very useful in deep delving.

Dynamite is able to stun the monsters, this will interrupt channeling abilities from monsters (for example Screamer scream, Aul's slam etc). This thing is so good that it actually saves me from dying so often when I am in sticky situations.

You must always refill your dynamite often, sometimes if you lack of just 1 dynamite will cost you a node.

5. Reading mods (my tank delver)
Before this league i was delving at 200 ish, it was just auto pilot, faceroll any mods, because it doesn't matter much. But starting about 500 ish the mods are getting harder, I have to know which nodes i must avoid if possible etc.

=============================================================

What I've understand but still haven't "mastered" yet
1. How to deal with specific bosses
So for example Azurite 3 have 3 different bosses, one lion, one screamer and one dragon. All of them have their own unique way to approach them but I have yet fully understand the correct method on approaching them.

2. correct positioning
for example on necromancer excavation, that node is like one of the nodes I haven't understand how to position myself well, often I will get caught by monsters are on the sides, not from the room itself. I have to make sure I flare into the darkness and clean all the mobs before starting the node.

I will update this post when I have learned more on delve, feel free to ask questions here, I will try my best to answer them myself but I am also inexperienced so, if the information I have is something I don't fully understand as well, I will note you.

I don't really enjoy delve, how rewarding is it at delve 400+?
I delve for items of 2c orbs recipe. As a casual player I don't like very much current trading system.
Cool read, thanks for sharing.
Dynamite - this is useful and you should deffo use it more. If you crank it up to huge AOE you basically have 7 get out of jail free cards. it has saved me from Haast randomly showing up in packs due to Beyonder zone mods and filling the entire tunnel with liquid nitrogen. Ofc you want to have a plan for "monsters can't be stunned" and "monsters can't be knocked back".

Don't be afraid of the dark if you've already cleared it. Flare down, up to 24 seconds of being left the fuck alone while you keep whatever's on that node, at arm's length. Some node shit will chase you back down the tunnel, know the layout of the approaches to node BEFORE you trigger it so you can endrun past the chaser and get into the light. Harby nodes and rogue exiles in camps are auto-triggered by the cart reaching the node, so you won't have recon time, flasks and flares need to be ready for them.

No-lifer delving always amazes me at how effective it is - how much more effective it is than tank/sustain delve - just a huge thanks for dragging your massive balls down into the hadal depths for us to see it actually works!

depends on how you get your sulphite, for example i am spamming gilded sulphite scarabs to get to 1k, it is currently basically wasting my money. But once I got to about 1k or deeper, the fossil nodes will get more common, so for the current market, they are averaging about 1ex, base on the fossil i got.

Delve is pretty fun for me cus I am learning a lot right now, this is completely something new to me and it is very different from the poe I know.
