Holy Dominion annointment not applying resists/stats

As the title says, I annointed my amulet with Holy Dominion Passive buff and it's not allocating any of the benefits from the passive.

Also I noticed the +8% chaos resist on the amulet actually decreases the chaos resist more, instead of bolster it by 8%.

It's not giving you any benefits because it appears that you've already allocated that passive node via regular means.

It is not possible to have the same node allocated twice.

Anointing is like a tree-wide Intuitive Leap; it allows you to select any passive node on the entire tree, but without using up any skillpoints.

I have also checked your character and the chaos resistances are correctly calculated; the amulet is adding the 8% chaos res.

Base chaos res is -60%
You further decrease your chaos resistance by 12% via the gloves

Your items give you:
+8 from the amulet
+15 from the belt craft
+10 from the jewel

It all adds up to -39% chaos resistance. I assume you changed your items around in the meantime, since the screenshot shows a different belt being used than the one your character currently uses.
