2 Paradoxica + dualstrike/cleave means 4-times dmg?

hello

because the dps-score does not show it:

does 2 https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Paradoxica dual-wield with dualstrike or cleave result in 4 times the dmg (double the double)? or only 3 times (each doubled the base)? or does only count 1 of them?

thx for your answers

each instance of 'double damage' is local to the weapon. so if you had paradoxia in 1 hand, and a regular weapon in the off hand, the only damage that is doubled are hits with paradoxia.

because you have 2 paradoxia, every hit (main and offhand) is doubled. You end up with.... Double Damage... on every hit.

Cleave hits with both weapons. The tooltip for cleave assumes you hit with both weapons, but doesnt account for the double. So you get .... double damage ... of whatever it says.

Dual Strike is exactly the same.

tl:dr - you get double. end.

Each weapon makes up a portion of the damage, which is doubled.

Ergo: each weapon doubles half the damage, leading to an overall doubling of damage.
the text indisates other:

"Attacks with this Weapon deal Double Damage" dualstrike is one attack.

if it doubles only the hit from this weapon, the text should be "hits with this weapon...."

or is my english this bad? i would assume, hit is the dmg from this weapon, attack is the dmg from both weapons if the attack does dmg from both weapons (like dualstrike and cleave).

and its the same with frostbreath https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Frostbreath ?
