Hunter's Exalted Orb attack roll bug

I used Hunter's Exalted Orb on my glove with "can't roll attack mode" and I got "10% chance to impale enemies on hit with attacks" modifiers.
It said "hit with attacks" so I think this should be an attack mode.
(and give me back my orbs)

May be they ninja nerfed the orb (Just like Awakener Orb) so that Influence ex orb also ignore metamod?

It's the policy of GGG never to do ANY kind of restores ingame for ANY reason, so no you will not be getting anything back.
Just got +spell dmg on ring using crusader exalted orb, with a cannot roll caster modifiers on the ring. So it seems that all the new exalted orbs are bugged. The patch notes even specifically say awakener orb, not the new conqueror exalted orbs.
Same thing happened to me today.

Can we get a GGG response to this? Took a lot o currency to craft this only to brick it with the ex. 5-6ex down the drain ...
There are other currencies (ie essences) that ignore meta mods so it’s likely not a bug.

Well the other currencies that ignore this mods (essences, chaos orbs) re-roll the entire item, so basically you can assume that they will delete all mods and add a new set of mods, so for this you get a hit that this could happen, so in that regard the awakaner's is ok to also ignore these mods since it has a similar behavior. But the special exalts are as the name states exalts, also they don't re-roll anything so the metacraft is there to stay and enforce that rule just like it does for then standard exalt ... so it will be a good assumption that the meta-craft mod will apply for them ... and if they don't there isn't any info in game that will suggest that this will happen (no mention of any other mechanics that could result in this behavior) It only stated that it will add a mod, and add influence.

PS: the influence part is also vague. it is not stated in anyway that you can't use it on an item that already has influence, but for this at least you get an error when you try it, and you don't waste your currency.

Anyway just my 2 cents. After all GGG does what GGG wants. Is GGG's game and I love them both (the game and GGG). I just wish that they will make it clearer in this cases. If it is ambiguous for someone like me who plays this game on and off since beta, just what will a new player thing and how will this impact when he finally decides to actually use currency for crafting and this happens.
