Awakener's Orb changed mid league or a bug?

So, i've been having a blast crafting all new stuff but, i tried a different type of craft today that was supposed to work based on this item

Its a legacy energy shield item so its definitly not crafted on current patch, and it has 2 influences so it HAS to be obtained by using the awakener's orb, to protect the legacy prefix he without a doubt used prefix cannot be changed (as the mods are impossible to obtain now), this item was crafted 4 days ago, i tried using the orb today with 3 different items and it doesnt let me, it shows this message

the items definitly does not have the same mods (all of them) and they have difference influences, so is this a mid league change or a bug?

Tried "prefix cannot be changed" as well, using awakener's orb failed with "the item already has a mode of this type".

The target is a 3 prefix + 1craft(Prefix cannot be changed). I tried all kinds of the sacrificing item. No matter what sacrificing item's mod is, the apply will fail as long as target has a "Prefix cannot be changed". Spent all of exalts to get this result :(

They always retain influence, so they are currently bugged. people are abusing the market from this
