best wand base for crafting spell wand?

I dont know what im missing but all the loot filters iv seen hide prophecy wands as a base for crafting even though it rolls a higher spell damage implicit, and they show imbued wands which rolls 3% less spell damage. now the only difference I can see is the attack speed, crit chance, and INT requirements.

Im new to crafting and as long as the wand is ilvl 84+ it can roll all t1 mods
so is there anything special about imbued wands over prophecy wands for spell casting?

Wondering the same thing actually. Imbued is being shown cause it's the best base for a physical wand, but why is prophecy hidden? ¯\_(ツ)\_/¯

BTW. There are actually affixes above 84:

85: of Lioneye with (625–780) to Accuracy Rating
85: of the Elder with (21–25)% of Physical Damage Converted to Chaos Damage
85: Deafening Essence of Doubt with (625–780) to Accuracy Rating
86: Devastating with (51–59)% increased Elemental Damage with Attack Skills

Not that it matters for hiding them from drops, but if you were to get a white wand and craft it then I guess you might as well go Imbued and lose the 5% spell damage from implicit in case you do hit good phys rolls. But I think phys wanders would want different influence anyways?

Because prophecy wand isnt the best.

Opal wand can roll 38-42% implicit, so its the only base you should use for crafting UNLESS you want cast speed, then Profane is the wand you want.

Tornado and Imbued are shown for wand attack builds like kinetic blast, barrage, etc.

Prophecy is only 2% spell damage less than Opal. Not sure why phys wanders get 2 bases and casters don't (assuming you don't scale with cast speed).

I had a quick look at poe.ninja just now. Softcore Metamorph data:
wand users with power siphon: 71
wand users with kinetic blast: 31
wand users with barrage: 8
wand users without either of the three: 3095 (shield)+1155 (dual wield)
