Joining groups over Xbox one.

My friend and I leveled up all through the acts as a group and started maps. One day we couldn’t join each others group over Xbox, we have tried everything. This is so frustrating to have gotten this far with my friend and not play with my friend. All we get is “joining group” and nothing happens. This needs to be addressed ASAP! Why make a beautiful game if you can’t even enjoy playing the game? Please help ggg I have found no solution to this problem and I have looked all night for one.

There were major server outages all weekend for Xbox. Most of them appear fixed now though.
