I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German.
Git Gud?
You should write what kind of Halo you are referring to. There are many Halo games out there.

Decent for practice.

You got Krita or photoshop btw?

If you don't, i would suggest looking up Krita, amazing program and it's entirely free and donation based.

Edit: downloaded Krita... mucked with it. I'll stick with reg MS paint.
Having a machine do the work for me is not what I'm looking for.
Though it might really work for someone else.

I think of it like a carpenter, they are tools that can make the work flow easier, similar to how a carpenter can use a bench and a chainsaw.

It doesn't mean to me that you don't have to know the baseline skill or concept to utilize the tools.

Somebody using the lightning tools in krita for example that doesn't have a clue how natural lightning works isn't going to make a beautiful finished painting.

Or isn't going to utilize the light to make a point or emphasize something for the viewer.

Similar to the picture that i posted earlier which has a whole bunch of subtle clues, masterfully combined to a working piece.

- angle of the shoulders to project to the right hand arrow
- low color pallet with fibrant red to emphasize the motion and draw attention
- line of action all moving to the right hand arrow which is holding the arrow with a single finger, gracefully(indication of fluidity and skill) combining grace with death
- contrast usage to move the eye of the viewer
etc etc

All of those are usages of the elements to form a composition and i don't think the composition would be found worse if the creator used some shortcut tools to create it as a whole.

I'm only posting this since you mentioned you have a lot of concepts and a limited amount of hours in a day :p

To be fair when i was testing the program a bit, it was overwelming for me, because i don't have the technical skillset yet to understand most functionalities in it.
But it seemed capable from what i read and worth exploring later on.

I'll let you know in a year or two what i think of it? :D

Peace,

Krita is quite nice.

For something equally as powerful but more stripped down, give Sketchbook Pro a try. It's free now too. :)
