we already know how the back end works, you cheated, you got banned, you appealed and got denied because you cheated.
this has went through detection, banning, reviewing and enforcing.

what YOU are trying to do is make a public show in the attempt to get the accounts back, not going to happen, no matter how unjustified you seem to think it is and no amount of posting about your woes is going to get them back.

Yea and I reject the pretence of that statement, I did not cheat. Cheating would imply I acted to gain an unfair advantage through deceptive means. I hurt no one, I swindled no one. I was on the accounts for a few mins out of curiosity.

Now, IF you allow me to practice my rights through any western judiciary system, I can argue that this punishment is grossly disproportionate.

Feel free to sue GGG then. They are in NZ and therefor has an "western judiciary system".

Mate if you don't have anything constructive to add here can you please stop bumping this thread. As a side note, maybe run your sentences through a spell checker before you post. That is if the cherry pickers allow that sort of automation. Don't want you to suffer a similar consequence.

I'm happy to just be able to share and expose the back end of how this company operates. I'll be happy if I can just make one or two people think before seriously supporting this game in the future.

Almost 400 USD supported. And what I got to reconcile this was a chat bot disguised as a support team with no meaningful or genuine attempt to help me.

Already explained the ToU was ambiguous, this was a genuine misunderstanding that shouldn't have an account banned permanently for.

Mind Boggling.

Yeah, problem is, we are only getting your side of the story. You are hand picking each and every individual piece of information that you are giving us to suit your needs. GGG will not come here to defend themselves. We don't have enough information to make any kind of informed decision.

Sorry, I take your word with a grain of salt and it means absolutely nothing here.

Pro tip: Don't multibox.
Pro tip #2: If you aren't sure about something, email support@grindinggear.com first and ask.
"Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the Universe is winning."

I am sorry my spelling is not 100% correct, but I can't spell correctly (not even on my own language) so sorry for that.

So GGG will not reply here because they have already closed your case as you have been told + they also don't reply to account issues on the forum.
So the question is still, what will this tread do for you?

I get that you are unhappy about getting banned, even more because you have spent money on that account but I don't see any options for you here other then a "legal one" or a "contact your bank one"?

The likelihood you have any amount of legal schooling beyond Law and Order is pretty slim, especially given you fail to see your situation here. My wife works in a preschool; let me try the toddler approach. Little boy Jimmy has big, red fire truck the little boy Joe wants play with. Jimmy had good parents who taught him how to share. Joe starts smashing the truck against a wall in a way Jimmy doesn’t like, and Jimmy takes the toy back.

I assure you the courts would look on it in the exact same manner. GGG owns 100% of everything, and you checked the “I agree” box that said you understand their ownership as well as their rules and that they can do whatever they want with the account they let you use. The money you gave them got you nothing more than their permission to use their product in a manner you had agreed to.

Oh, it really just belittles you when you bash on people for not having perfect English as a 2nd+ language. English is one of the hardest languages to learn, and he fact that they did as a 2nd+ makes them smarter in many regards than the rest of us entitled Americans believing everyone else should accommodate us without us ever doing something for them.

P.S. Just in case your wondering what “grossly disproportionate” means to the U.S. Supreme Court it’s life without the possibility of parole for a parking citation. Neither the offense nor punishment even register.
Personally I think them permanently closing your account was a bit extreme.
Ideally they should have given you a shorter ban e.g. 14 days as a warning first, then extended to 30 days, then given a permanent ban.

As you weren't trying to exploit the game to get an unfair advantage, there was no ill-intent so I can only sympathise with you.

If they would have firstly given you a short ban (warning) it would have informed you that GGG were not happy with that software and would have given you the chance to stop using it and save your account. They didn't give you that opportunity and won't let you appeal this so imho they are in the wrong.

As far as advice goes I would recommend you make a post on the pathofexile subreddit as it gains more visibility than posting on the forums so more likely someone at GGG will take action.

Good luck and I hope you get your account back.
