PSA: How to search for amulet anointments on the trade indexer

A friend of mine was bummed out that he couldn't search for a particular notable anointment on an amulet, so I did a bit of experimentation.

As it turns out, there's a stat filter on pathofexile.com/trade called "[Enchant] Allocates #". Setting the min and max number to a certain value will return amulet results that have the corresponding enchant/anointment. e.g. 6 is Twin Terrors - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Blight/pJoZ325t0

I found it strange that they weren't in any particular order, and it wasn't like they were numbered nicely from 1 to 200, but instead seemed to skip up dozens or hundreds of numbers at a time before the next notable.

The big reveal: It's tied to the node's ID from the passive tree JSON file. I put together a list of all (I think?) notables that can be anointed onto an amulet which can be found here on Pastebin - https://pastebin.com/nYcJ5xNB

Look up the notable you want (i.e. Diamond Skin), search for it in that list to find the ID (10542), then set that to be the minimum and maximum value in the search - https://www.pathofexile.com/trade/search/Blight/WvZaga0fm

Interesting!. Your friend could just get the amulet he wants and trade the oils and apply them himself though

In most cases I'd agree that's easier, but when you're looking for an anointment that costs an exalt or more in oils, it's definitely worth checking to see if there's any cheap (or cheaper than the oils) amulets up for sale already.
