Why Do Belts Suck So Much For Casters?

Lots of types and possible stats that effect STR and physical damage. Nothing that affects spellcaster output. The best you can hope for is some +ES. Why do belts so heavily favor Melee?

Flask charges, ES, resistances, life, are all good mods for casters, and they can all be rolled on belts.

" Hes talking about elemental damage and other dmg stats avaible only for non casters, also what you said is available for everyone. " Not a one of those effects output and all benifit melee as much as they do casters. On the other hand, you have +Phys Damage, +Str and Thorns that are all outputs for a melee char (and useless for a caster). " +str is an output for ranged physical as well such as power siphon u build gear around life u don't build your char around an extra 30 str or 5% phys dmg stop over doing it ^_^ You will hate me and I am okay with that ^_^

I'm sorry, but "melee and ranged physical" is stupidly convoluded and long to type over and over when, in context, it's pretty apparent that it's included. I'm not sure what you think is overdoing it. I have a question: "Why are there no caster damage output options on belts?" " okay, why can't belts have +armor as implicit but they have one for es or eva why isn't there a dex belt and an int belt but there is a str belt u can ask all these questions and get an answer, but what does it lead to -- NOTHING so stop over doing it ^_^ You will hate me and I am okay with that ^_^

Different gear slots, different affixes. Why can't I roll elemental damage on my helmet but I can get +2 minion gem levels? We could sit here all day talking about different gear slots not being able to increase damage output of a particular playstyle.
