Bone Armour skill (Necromancer)

Does it last until its buff (Buff can take 2209 Damage) is depleted? So I cast it and don't need recast unitl the buff is gone (all 2209 damage buff is used up)?
How often you usually need to recast it? Is better than 10% reduced damage from Plaguebringer?

It's identical to steelskin cept it effects minions too. That means 1.5sec base duration X %increased duration.

Hard to compare the two... but if you have 10 minions at all times 30% ele resist, 30% recovery, 10% phys reduction and a steelskin clone for 'free' is a pretty nice node imo.

So I need to recast it every 1.5 sec? That is not QoL skill then in my book. I like more easy gameplay

Mine lasts over 6 seconds with increased duration nodes. It’s nice when running through packs or like when you get swarmed in delves. Gives you an extra buffer.

That's correct. Not every skill has to be a QoL skill. Some are "active gameplay" skills, which appeal to certain player populations. A nearly deceased player population, it seems these past few years, but an extant one nonetheless.

6 seconds? I think you may be exaggerating a little bit (that'd be ~300% increased duration!) But it does last long enough to do the job.

Saving us from the Dread Porcupines.

Also the passive skills from the node are still quite good even without finding the active useful (I'm playing full on army-mancer mode and would be hard pressed to find a slot for Steelskin...)

Im not even invested in duration and mine lasts 3.5s. i have no idea what the 'base' duration is, but no way in hell is it the same as steelskin 1.5s.

It's 3 seconds. I get 100% increased from the tree and ascendency and 19% from my Malevalence aura. 3 * 2.19 = 6.57.
