General Discussion - Daily Master Missions in 3.8.0 - An Update from Chris Wilson - Forum

Since I expected to see some Reddit antipathy in response to this message, I chose to put it up separately where it wouldn't detract from all the rest of the info revealed in my Baeclast notes post. Alongside this change, we reduced the number you get to two per day, because prior to 3.8.0, most players ended up not running every daily mission they received every day, and so many were wasted. We were trying to make it so that the number of missions was the same as before for most players. We didn't see this as an intentional nerf because the system is now so much more permissive than before. Either way, feedback on Reddit about this change was negative and we didn't feel strongly about it, so are changing it based on this feedback. I anticipated this, which is why I put this up in its own thread rather than just updating my Baeclast notes thread. Hopefully it stays here rather than distracting elsewhere. For what it's worth, I have seen them respond to stuff on the forums as well. Ehh, vote system tends to further promote hivemind--popular ideas go up, unpopular ones sink to the bottom (or are hidden). Makes reddit a terrible platform for discussing anything contentious. Do I need to add logging into PoE once a day even if I have no intention or desire to play that day just to bank the master missions to run at a later date?
