Help with Animate Guardian on PS4

Hello, I am a new player trying to use Animate Guardian on PS4 and I can't seem to get to work. The ability is socketed and I have dropped items on the ground and then cast the ability, but it doesn't do anything. My character does an animation and I lose mana, but nothing else happens. Can anyone who successfully uses the ability on PS4 help me out here? Is there a certain button I need to press or something? Thank you to anyone who responds to help!

Check if the items have the correct level.
That was the mistake I did and then it didn’t worked.
It says on the tooltip of animated guardian which levels can be used
