orbs really start dropping in substantial amounts if you reached maps, (around level 60)
if you want some currency earlier, in legion it's probably the best to farm legion mobs. the second most rewarding area to farm is delve but it's probably hard for beginners to handle flasks, explosives and mobs at the same time as the lucraive chests are hidden behind walls in the dark areas the cart doesn't go. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill! Farming is best done in zones that are linear such as Ledge or Aquaduct so you can run it quickly and then rinse and repeat (hold down the control key when entering zone to create a new instance).
Act 9 Blood Aquaduct is good as that is also where you can farm the Humility card to turn a set of 9 in for a Tabula Rasa. "You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."

Don´t worry about farming till maps. Just pick up whatever rare item you might use.
You just need decent amount of life and resistance and some 4 link item(s) for you main spell(s) through the story mode. Boots with movement speed and Quicksilver flask will help you to finish the story mod a bit faster (+ any movement skill you like). Last edited by Rakiii#5559 on Jul 30, 2019, 9:12:45 AM

You're approaching this wrong. Players who have played through the game multiple times trade for leveling items to make the game go quicker. You don't want to do that yet. Play the game for fun. Grind a bit to find items/currency and to level up a bit. Getting an item that makes all that trivial is going to ruin the fun for you. Wait until it's no longer fun to trade for leveling items.
At 34 you should be near the end of act III or starting act IV. You can run the Scepter of God or the Aqueducts, or even Dried Lake for a while before you try the Lab to get your Ascendancy. You'll get plenty of gear from those areas. Ducts will also drop cards for Tabla Rasa... which is pretty cool to have. |

" Yes you need items with item level 60 (normal monsters can drop such items in an area lvl 60). Last edited by Rakiii#5559 on Jul 30, 2019, 9:18:33 AM

there are some low level areas where u can farm divination cards for currency, exalted orbs drops should start at lvl 30-35 areas.
currency flipping is sometimes worthy (selling all fusings for chaos etc). also you might have noticed that there are some items which will increase your magic find rates, both for wearable items and for "currency" items and divination cards. you should check out vendor recipes site for more usefull vendor recipes beside chaos recipe. With lots of good comments here, the one thing I didn't see (and maybe missed) is discussion of resistance upgrade after Act 5.
You will need to adjust for the -30% elemental resistances penalty that hits after you complete Act V. Going into Act VI, you will really want to be at 75% (or VERY close) on all ele resists, even if you weren't before. This can be hard to do by random drop unless you get lucky. My suggestion would be: .. keep all rare drops you get that have decent resist rolls. That roughly means at least two resists covered at 20% or better with an open suffix to add the missing one. (Or if the item covers all three, that's great.) This goes for rings, belts, helmets, boots and gloves. Weapons and amulets are not so much about resists. ..Vendor the crummier gear for orbs, which you will be able to convert to chaos orbs that you can use to trade for some resistance upgrade items after Act V. New players are usually a little over-leveled, so you'll probably be somewhere between 45 and 50 when you finish Act V. This means you'll want to set your trade search to max player level of about 48, or you will get a ton of high-level items you can't use yet. (Or set it to the exact level you are at the time...) You will need to go through your gear and decide what you want to replace. Total up the resistance impact and factor in another 30% for the penalty. This will tell you the total fire, cold and lightning resistance you need to shoot for. You may need to account for the Str, Int or Dex you are losing from those items as well. And it's always worth looking for life at this stage. Don't worry about anything else at this point. Now you go and start setting up trade searches for each gear piece you're replacing. You should be able to replace the individual items mentioned above for 1 to 3c each at this stage. No need to spend more. If you go for rings and belt, you may be able to cover all your resistance needs with those three items. That's 6-9c at most, which you can easily generate from the orbs you pick up or get vendoring junk rares. Good luck...you are going to do this process again after Act 10. " Yes, a full set of level 60+ gear plus 2 rings and amulet. If any items are ID'd you get 1 Chaos, if everythig is unID'd you get 2 Chaos. If all items are level 75+ then you get 1 Regal orb (ID) or 2 Regal orbs (everything unID'd). "You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..."
