Bigger range for Auras
In game play the Auras only have a range of about 2 inches ... no party fights that close unless you're packed into a tunnel.
Minions for summoners run all over so the auras rarely do anything. imo the party share range for the auras should be tripled if not just for your complete viewing area. I understand you don't want people to able to party and share buffs and aura from complete different maps but these are some seriously short buff ranges. thanks This thread has been automatically archived. auras gives a lot. so if you want more range, - you need to cut of big stats of it.

If auras are overpowered then adjust them but making the distance so small just means that they are worthless to range characters. ironically enough most of the auras are Dex why even make them if you are going to make them so difficult to use. Great for melee guys if you have your support guys follow you around all the time but ... |

The current range is ideal for an aura to function at 100%, but it would be nice if the aura went much farther but gradually lost force as you gain distance from the source. A hard barrier between aura'd air and non aura'd air seems almost anime to me. In a real life fantasy reality dream of awesomeness, auras would be more like a magnetic field stronger in the middle, and weaker farther out.

I was gonna make my own thread, but this was already up.
This idea would make partying a lot better. The only time I have seen the auras used correctly in a party was when everyone was using a bow in chaos runs and we all took baby steps staying near eachother. It allowed us to all share auras, but it was certainly not as cool as being able to be further apart. I think a minimum of triple the current range is fair for all auras. You literally have to be almost touch your friends in the party to get the auras and that is not really fun. I would like to hear comments from developers about this one. " I can actually find 5 passive nodes which gives a total of 70% where 3 of them is in the middle (2 nodes and one keystone 'Leadership') gives 50%. At higher levels gems are ok good. I do not need to stay extremely near my templar friend (no need to spoon him). You do realise that leveling the gems increase the radius too. I think quality on gems gives also increase radius. Not sure if support gem increase area effect works but somebody can tell me. What do you mean most auras are dex??? Dex: Hatred, grace, haste Int: Clarity, discipline, wrath, purity Str: Anger, determination, punishment, vitality Maybe there is more but these are the one i know and can be found in the forum. It also works the other way around what if the aura tank is actually using a ranged weapon or magic... No food in fridge... Beer it is.

Support changing aura range nodes to a certain sort of metric gain instead of a percentage of the already existing auras. As the range needs to be short without points spend, but +10% of a very small area is still a very small area, why either changing it to a specific range or simply boosting the percentage a lot seems reasonable without making them overpowered in any way.
They still require a lot of mana to maintain and have a very short range to begin with, which even seems to get LoS'd by mobs themselves making them rather ineffective at times. - Hvabehar
