Vorici White Socket Craft Questions

So I finally have level 3 Vorici on Research, my question is:

1) Does Vorici white socket reroll the whole item?
2) Does Vorici white socket reroll ALL the colors, or is it just the 1st 3 of the link?
3) If I decide to sell it, will I have to take the other persons' Item to craft it, or he can craft it himself if he's in my party?

2) Assuming Vorici rank 3, it will roll 1-3 sockets chosen at random and turn them white. The remaining 3-5 will be unchanged.
3) You have to take the item and craft it.
