eldritch battery should make corrupted soul completely useless. since you have 0 energy shield protecting your life you will take the whole dmg from life.

In case anyone is wondering what happens with this combo:
EB makes ES cover mana instead of life. Thus, MoM applies first and splits damage 70% to life and 30% towards ES+mana. However, because Corrupted Soul allows 50% of non-chaos damage to go through ES, that means it'll go down to mana. If you have no mana due to 100% reservation or because you're low, it'll go back to life as per MoM's usual rules. Thus having EB + MoM + Corrupted Soul + 100% reserved mana means only 15% of the non-chaos damage goes to ES (or 50% of whatever % you have such as 20% if you take Hierophant's Divine Guidance + MoM for 40% MoM). Chaos damage will still 100% go through the ES (and then mana, and thus hit your life) unless you have Shav's or whatever else to modify that. |
