[3.9] Bashtart's Block, Crit, Impale Cyclone Gladiator [fast dual-wielding, high dps]

Block, Crit & Impale Gladiator

Hi guys, atm I am leveling my Blood & Sand Gladiator and while leveling I will test all the new gems especially the blood & sand themed skills. I will develop the build guide slowly while progressing. My plan is to make dual-wielding max block Gladiator with crazy cleer speed, good single target dps and survivability.

Recent Updates (22.06.2019):
> I felt that the build was lacking a bit of dps so I switched to crit and it feels good! Changed Skill setups, passive tree and added a Diamond Flask. Also new PoB file!

Progress:
I reached lvl 92 and melted red elder (facetanking) and red maps up to T15 so far... Everything easy.

Gear:
Gear with level 92:

On gear look for:
> Life
> Resistances
> Armour
> Block

> Physical Damage to Attacks
> Attack Speed
> Crit Chance & Multiplier

Weapons:
> Level 28: Lakishu's Blade
> Level 62: Prismatic Eclipse
> Level 58: Ichimonji
> Rare Foil (weapon range:14, +270 phy. dps, +1,8aps, high crit +6%, chance to Impale on hit)

Other uniques:
Haemophilia gloves: this gloves are super strong for this build and help a lot with clear speed with bleed explosions and give good additional dps.
Belt of the Deceiver: is a nice cheap belt which offers defensive and offensive power.
Body Amrour: Good options are Loreweave, Carcass Jack, Bronn's Lithe

Flasks:
Life Flask: with anti-bleeding
Diamond Flask: a must have for every crit build
Sulphur Flask: gives some nice dps and life regeneration
Silver Flask: for onslaught
Lion's Roar: gives crazy boost to dps and survivablity with knochback
Mana Flask (optional): just so you wont run out of mana in no regen maps.
Rumi'S Concoction: This Flask helps to max out your block chance and additionally gives a lot of armour.

Jewels:
Get a Jewel with a high chance to get Onslaught on kill because this will increase your clear speed drastically. Otherwise you want to get as much crit multipliers and life as possible on your jewels.

Leveling Section
Main Skill:
Directly at the start you get Perforate (available lvl 1) which you will use until you get Bladestorm (lvl 28) as main skill.

Perforate + Melee Physical Damage + Fortify + Multistrike + Impale + Pulverise / Brutality
Bladestorm + Melee Physical Damage + Fortify + Brutality + Impale + Pulverise
Cyclone + Melee Physical Damage + Fortify + Brutality + Impale + Pulverise

(When you get chance to impale on your weapons you can replace the impale support with Rage / Close Combat Support)



Movement:
Dash: very nice movement skill early on... works well without any supports
or
Leap Slam + Endurance Charge on hit + Faster Attacks

Cast When Damage Taken (low level)
CWDT (lvl 1) + Immortal Call (lvl 3) + Enfeeble (lvl 5) + Blood Rage (lvl7)

Mana Reservation:
Flesh & Stone + Maim: feels super strong for leveling
Blood & Sand: also nice for a little mana reservation
Dread Banner: to increase the chance and effect of impale.
Precision: for crit version Precision is a very good option.

Pride (optional): super strong for physical damage builds.
Herald of Purity (optional): for dps and minions also take some hits for you

(War Banner and Herald of Purity I used for leveling. I dropped those two reservation skills for Pride)

Utility:
Vaal Ancestral Warchief + Brutality + Melee Phy. Dmg + Venegenace
Vaal Haste
Stone Golem

Skill Tree:
Click me!

First rush either to the leech nodes in Duelist area ("Vitality Void") or to "Resolute Technique" and pick all the good stuff on the way. Then travel to the ranger area and pick up all stuff on the way. When you feel squishy get some life nodes... when you need more damage dps nodes. When you start to go for crit you spec out of Resolute Technique.

Ascendancy Gladiator:
1) Arena Challenger: gives the build so much clear speed and dps and works great with the sand & blood skills.
2) Painforged: gives some nice block chance and increased damage
3) Versatile Combatant: this the one node which makes block gladiator so powerful. When you pick this one up your spell block rate will be equal to your attack block chance.
4) Violent Retaliation / Outmatched and Outlast: Violent Retaliation would gives more block and damage. Outmatched and Outlast would help with endurance and frenzy charges while mapping.

Bandits & Pantheon:
Bandits:kill them all or help Oak!

Pantheon
> Soul of Solaris
> Soul of Gruthkul / Shakari

It will make it to endgame... the question is only with what main skill at the end :)

Rage support is insane for levelling.
It’s like onslaught+dmg
Perforate, Chance to bleed, melee phys, rage
Feels good.

I just tested Rage and it is really nice... I added it in leveling section as option!

I like following 4link atm:
Bladestorm > Melee Phy. Damage > Rage > Pulverise
