Vaaled an item and it kept it's implicit+also gained a new one
As the title says, I hit this with a regular vaal orb and it has 2 implicits now, it's original AND +2 to warcry gems. Is this a bug? I've never seen it and can't find anything in the patch notes. vroom vroom Last bumped on Apr 18, 2019, 4:14:10 PM

no that's not a bug. You can now have corrupted items with dual implicit's because that came into the came in 3.5.

yes, it is a bug. Made a post about it but no responce from GGG.
Vaaled some Saffell's Frame-shields, some lost the all-resistances implicit but one kept it: Last edited by el_Nino_69#3529 on Apr 18, 2019, 6:02:10 AM

well since GGG haven't confirmed anything then it's a bug claim.
And the items you linked is fine as I understand the new corrupt crafting mods. Last edited by HanSoloDK#4843 on Apr 18, 2019, 7:42:46 AM

it lost the 20% Spell-damage-implicit: |

" Can you specify where in the patch notes I can find that? I had a look at the 3.5 and 3.6 patch notes and couldn't find anything about double implicits that come from vaal orbs, only from incursion league mechanics. Thanks. vroom vroom

sure it's here -->
https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2197247 --> the corruption mods introduced alongside Incursion will remain as Vaal Orb outcomes, but you may need to wait until 3.5.0 for a reliable way to double-corrupt items. So no bug here. :) |

" Thanks for the quick reply. However that just states that the new implicits that were added in Incursion league (ex. Attacks/Spells have x% to critical strike chance) will remain in core until 3.5, presumably until temples are added. It makes no mention of an item getting 2 implicits with a normal vaal orb, or retaining its normal implicit while gaining another. Feel free to correct me if i'm wrong. vroom vroom

well I stand corrected then. This is really strange. I wonder if GGG will tag the items "as bad" and fix them later....

This is in fact either a visual bug or a game bug in general. It's not double corruption you're simply corrupting a mod onto the already specified implicit mod. Whether this is intended or not is yet to be seen.
