Intervention FIX here!
Had intervention freezes and this fixed it. Smooth now :)
Tried many things before reading this from somewhere, props to whoever wrote it! Fix: 1.While PoE is playing, hit cntrl+alt+delete to bring up the task manager. 2.In task manager, go to the "processes" tab, then find pathofexile.exe and right click on it and then choose "set affinity". Then unselect all your CPU cores except the first one and confirm. Then wait a little (i waited like 30 sec) and then enable all the other cores again. 3.Then right click on pathofexile.exe again and click on "set priority" and choose "high". 4.Close task manager and enjoy the interventions :) EDIT: the only thing about it, is that you have to manually do it every time you wanna play PoE it seems, so hopefully GGG can use this information to fix it on their end finally. Quit after Legion, rejoined PoE to see what the game's like now in 3.12. Last edited by Paldamus#1328 on Mar 29, 2019, 12:39:13 PM Last bumped on Apr 1, 2019, 5:57:24 AM

Although my stuttering from Intervention is not too bad, will scope this out when I get home.

Will try too when I get home later. If this works then it'll be HOLY SHIT GGG! WTF did you fuck up in Synthesis multi-threading timing? I will test and post my results from Windows 7 Pro. DoubleU can post results of Windows 10 testing.
"You've got to grind, grind, grind at that grindstone..." Necessity may be the mother of invention, but poor QoP in PoE is the father of frustration. The perfect solution to fix Trade Chat: www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2247070 Last edited by Arrowneous#3097 on Mar 27, 2019, 6:20:33 PM

Have run 20 maps, no Syndicate yet :)

Seen this somewhere else about setting priority to high and started trying it last week. I notice a difference at times, but I still get a huge FPS drop from intervention. I wouldn't call this a viable solution although it might temporarily help a few people in the meantime.

Yeah let us know if it worked for you too.

--nopreload has worked wonders for me (steam but I'm sure it would work on stand alone as well).
I get a few milliseconds slow down but have not been killed since. If this works too it may be an alternative as my solution makes game load slow as molasses. " Exactly my thoughts! They need to send the coding dept back to school or something. Censored.

Funny how multiple people say "i'ma try this and report back" and then "2000 years later" noone reports anything back xD
