How to get off my friend's list?

Hi, I broke up with my boyfriend. I registered friend in a game with my boyfriend, but I want to delete it and not let him know I'm accessing it. How shall I do it?

I dont think you can do that.
You can delete him from your friend list and ignore him but he will still be able to see when you go online.
Thank you. I texted my boyfriend that I'm going to die.
Should I text him that I'm still alive? I mean.. before he finds me in the game?
When I asked Support a few years ago, they said they can't remove me from someone's friendlist.

Would simply asking him to remove you from his friendlist not be an option?

I think telling someone you're going to die is not a good option if you want to get rid of them. They'll most likely want to check on you.
Anyone can add anyone to their friend list, with or without your consent. Unfortunetly, there is no "offline/invisible" mode that most games have nowadays, for when you just want to be left alone.
I was thinking about maybe grow up and not behave like a idiot.
Texting someone that you are going to die is just mental and if I were your ex I would have blocked you right there.
Well, you can ask support... it may or may not be possible. Meanwhile, you can add him to ignore list (chat command /ignore) so that he won't be able to contact you in the game, although /whois will still work. And if you want to "unsee" him in the forum you can use this script.

My main suggestion, as said above, is to please avoid any "I am gonna die" messages. Or better, quickly deal with the mess now that you have done it. It's stressful for everyone and frankly very childish.

If you're located somewhere in the EU you are probably able to force a removal by sending GGG a letter referring to GDPR. You don't even have to find specific paragraphs, just say you want to be removed from that friendlist because it concerns your privacy. If they don't remove you then, you can send that to your local data protection agency and they will make them do it.

This exact process (a letter from my dpa was enough, no lawsuit required) worked for me in 2 other games. Since the fines are up to 20 milllion or 4% of global revenue, whatever is larger, companies tend to be pretty helpful with those issues :D

(And no, it doesn't matter whatever rights you signed away in the EULA. And doesn't matter they're in NZ, because they're doing business in Europe, thus subject to European laws)

EDIT:
And sure, that's not exactly the nice way. However, that's the safe way. Of course sending a message to customer support first is highly advised, because GGG has probably the best customer service i ever encountered. If nothing else they could at least change your account name / character names.

I can add you to my friendlist if I want, it doesnt require your permission. So if OP would force someone to remove her from someones friendlist, that person can just add her again.

Now, if that is against some kind of law or w/e i dont know, but thats how it works in most games (all? games maybe)

This sounds like ridiculous teenage drama (the reason OP doesn't want her boyfriend to see her log in is because she wants him to think she committed suicide?? which also means they don't even live near each other, if she expects to never even see him again) but I'll provide a serious response anyway:

Make a new account and ask GGG support if they can migrate all of your mtx and points to that account before deleting your old account.

You'll lose your characters but if you only play leagues you shouldn't really care.

You're right that that's how it works in this game (and lompad is incredibly optimistic by assuming that a "legal demand" will make GGG do anything--the technology seems to simply not be there). However, this is absolutely NOT how it works in most games. In most games, and websites, and generally almost every other service type over the internet, friend lists have to be mutual, and you can send a "friend request", and if that request is rejected, you never see the person on your list at all. This game is very unique.
