In desperate need of advise and pointers, please help

Hi

I am playing Templar and chose "Inquisitor" with completed labs (8 Points).

I have gone for an elemental / shield / block build which is based on a build online.. "Lazy Palla" but I tweaked quite a bit and it didnt require high end game items to work late game.. Anyways, I keep dying in strange ways on quite low tier lvl maps, but have also completed T11.. So I dont really dont know what the problem is. My build is here from path of building

I don't have much currency so I guess much is about my items.. But I would like to understand what I can do that doesnt cost me a fortune.. My tree is OK I guess, but I had to use some nodes for accuracy since I had bad ratings on char, due to lack on items, which I also tried to balance with resistence / HP etc.
I actually sacrificed quite lot of armor for other stuff since armor only Shields best on low dmg from what I read..

I started out with molten strike, but got bored of it why I have teotic slam now instead, which is quite nice with kills and range. But I need to upper my DPS quite heavily..
