MSVCP100.DLL Missing Cannot start game

Hey guys

Im trying to be cheeky and install the game at work, so when its dead I can play a bit. My company I work at is behind a proxy server. I tried downloading the game normally but it couldnt connect

In the past with other games, Ive managed to copy the game files that are already installed and it actually connected after copying the game files

After I copied the game folder and tried to start the application exe

I kept getting DLL errors such as the one above in the subject line

Is there anything I need to copy in order to attempt to start the game ?

The only thing I copied was the Path of Exile game folder located in Program files..

Thanks for any info

I think you must download Visual C++ Redistributable
MS(microsoft?)V(visual)CP(cpp?)
Good luck
Thanks will give it a go, when boss isnt looking ;) haha

Thanks that worked, but then the update screen came up to check if the game was up to date and it did not connect

Said it failed to connect with the patching server

Oh well, thanks anyway

^^ Thanks in advance and sorry if im posting in an old thread
Hi,
if you are running a x64 windows try too install the x86 and x64 version of microsoft visual C++ 2010. after that start the windows update and let it scan for updates.

If thats not working download the dll (http://www.dllme.com/dll/files/msvcp100_dll.html) and put it into:

C:windows/system32
and
C:windows/sysWOW64

do NOT overwrite existing dlls without a backup of the old files

if its still not working:
press win+ r; and type cmd press enter

after that type

regsvr32 msvcp100.dll (press enter)

in the dos window.

If thats not working im out of options.
