Debuffs and how they work on Bosses (list? wiki?)
I would like to know if there is a comprehensive list or information about how debuffs (blind, maim, hinder, temp. chains, etc.) work on bosses and if the bosses have limits to how much you can debuff them.

As far as I know there's no such comprehensive list, mostly because various bosses have their individual tweaks.
Blind should apply regularly and halve the bosses' hit chance. Hinder and maim should work in theory, but I think bosses have a minimum movement speed below which they cannot be slowed. I am not sure if that applies to map bosses as well or just the actual endgame ones. Similarly, they have a minimum animation speed, and while they can be technically frozen, their animation speed will not be zero. This means that can't be achieved through additive effects either. Temporal Chains slows animation speed multiplicatively, so it may not be as easy to reach the minimum with a combination of it and others. That aside, Temporal Chains and other curses have 60% less effect on bosses and 80% less effect on Shaper and Guardians, as well as equivalent encounters. Other than this, reductions to resistances and increases to damage taken should apply at full value. This information is basically what people build around, unless they're preparing for specific bosses or encounters. For more details, look through the wiki and poedb for individual encounters. |
