You missunderstood how minion gems are working.
Minion gems don't do any damage themself. They allow to rise minions that are doing the damage. The minions get the modifiers of all support skill gems. Any modifier affecting socket gems do not effect your minions but skill raising them. That is the same reason why the tool tip of any minion skill in the skill bar do not show the damage of your minions but the damage of the skill gems cast, which is in most cases zero. I am sorry to say but "socketed gems deal 30% more elemental damage" will never raise the damage of any minion. Let's explore new playstyles - Play it your own way, not just like the others.

Than spectres should not get damage from conc effect either because gem it self don't do area damage right ?
all support gem saying that supported gems deal more or what ever damage. than in your theory spectres should get damage only from minion specified nodes and gems that support minions fire pen for example saying: Supports any skill that hits enemies, making those hits penetrate enemy fire resistance. Spectre gem don't deal damage and dont hit but solar guards are supported by fire pen. you saying: Any modifier affecting socket gems do not effect your minions but skill raising them Do i have to call Vanga to know that? no, i don't have to. helmet description CLEARLY saying that Socketed gems are supported by level 20 concentrated effect Socketed gems are supported by level 20 minion damage Socketed gems Deal 30% More elemental you got no point here my friend. just leave my with my trouble alone. im looking for an ggg support here, not someone to show himself ign : GraveyardPrincess

" Those other modifiers are psuedo support gems which are designed to work with minion skills. The other is not a support gem and so since the minion gem itself doesn't deal damage, such as Arc would, the minions summoned by it won't get the benefit. It is confusingly worded I think.
