Crawler asks me to select a destination and doesn't move

I clicked on that "Azurite Cavity":



You'll load into the mine, there will be a circle in front of the crawler that lets you start the delve. I walk into that circle and it just disappears:



The crawler never starts, but on the subterranean chart, the Azurite Cavity has a crosshairs icon on it. If there's something else I need to do to make the crawler move, it's extremely unclear.

Happened again. Target chosen, crawler refuses to move.
