Are div cards that are traded less worth farming?
I was looking for map farming options beyond the ever popular Burial Chambers in the next league and I noticed some of the pricier divination cards have relatively few sellers listed. If I find something like Hunter's Reward only has 4 sellers online, it makes me wonder if that's because nobody farms them, or because nobody wants them (a 300c card isn't worth anything if nobody wants it). Is there a way I can tell if these cards will actually be able to be turned into currency without waiting a month?

" You have to analyze the meta if you are talking about profitability within a league. In the case of The Taming, the answer is maybe. The problem with farming unique rings div cards (nowadays) is that you have elder/shaper rings that have mods that no unique ring can provide. Most end game setups these days rely on Opal rings and a combination of shaper/elder rings or even the new unique rings dropped from uber elder. There is no way to tell you whether or not something is valuable. You can however analyze past leagues and see how value was assessed. The PoE Antiquary is very good for this. For example here are the cards that held value in the Incursion league. http://poe-antiquary.xyz/Incursion/Divination Last edited by Prizy#1622 on Aug 30, 2018, 12:37:30 PM

To answer the original question... Yeah, some items have a high value, but so little market movement: the demand AND supply are much lower than for more rapidly-traded items. Their value will still be high, as the demand STILL outstrips the supply, but that's because value goes on relative terms: 5 people fighting over 1 item is much like 5,000 people fighting over 1,000.
So yes, for lower-demand items are going to still fetch a high value, just... There is no guarantee you'll be able to move them quickly. As far as the ring meta goes, I'm inclined to disagree; outside of a handful of things (e.g, curse-on-hit from an Elder ring) the only REAL pressure to use an Elder/Shaper ring is if you're using a Mark of the Shaper or Elder, to take advantage of its most powerful mod. A healthy 36.04% or so of the Incursion ladder's ring slots are taken up by "popular uniques: e.g, 15 of them that all have at least usage on 1% or more builds.
