Power Charge on Crit: Stacking

Greetings.
I've been wondering, how does the property "chance to gain a Power Charge on Critical Strike" stacks with itself? For example, let's say I have a corrupted wand with a modifier 5% chance to gain a Power Charge on Critical Strike and I run a PCoC gem with another 54% chance to gain a Power Charge on Critical Strike. The question is, are these completely separate? Do I have a chance for both mods to proc and to gain two charges on one crit? Or do they stack additively or multiplicatively? Thanks for answers. If both apply to the skill (I recall the weapon mod might be local? Not sure), they will simply add together for a 59% chance to get a power charge on crit.
In general, any "X% change to do Y when Z happens", with the same Y and Z, will simply add the chances together. Getting more than 100% chance doesn't do anything special, you will just always do Y whenever Z happens. Last edited by Abdiel_Kavash#5296 on Jun 22, 2018, 7:21:21 PM
