Oni-Goroshi doubts

Hello,

I was wondering if I could get a couple questions answered about the Uber Hillock encounter.

1- Is the encounter a one-time-per-character thing? I am aware some people already farmed Twilight Strand a lot and didn't get a second drop so I'd like some kind of official answer.

2- Let's say you're farming Twilight Strand. You're already level 8 and this run the encounter triggers. However, you just entered the zone and before you can leave the Dying Exile's side, your internet connection dies. If the answer to the previous question was "yes", does this counts as your one-time encounter per character?

1. Yes, one sword per exile. Once you get one it's time to move on.
2. Yes. If you are kicked out from a DC (I suffered a client crash and lost 1 once) you are
     forced to log back in and that resets the Strand Beach instance so if you had gotten UH or killed
     him but hadn't picked up the sword yet and get DCed or crash out you lose it.

However if you die you can come back in and the instance is not rest so you're still ok. One of my uber Hillock kills was with a Duelist. I couldn't double strike fast enough so the zombies he spawns kept growing and growing. I coudn't lure them off of UH and kite them fast enough at all so I finally gave up, face tanked UH until my life flasks ran dry, and died. Came back in and repeated until after 7 deaths UH was dead. I got the sword but was still zombie mob surrounded and died another time. Came back in and just for spite (I could have run past them all to town) I killed them all. Now I wasn't logged out but since at zone 1 death I was back at the character selection screen and had to pick the duelist again to get back to the beach in the same instance to continue the UH battle.
