Trouble reaching Ruined Square from Control Blocks for the second time

Hello,

I have just defeated Innocence for the first time and was in the middle of finding the exit for the church area when I decided that I wanted to upgrade my Storm Cloud to The Tempest.
So I teleported out of the church area and went to Sin Chambers to complete the prophecy.
However, I messed up and used a scroll of town portal after defeating Fidelitas and understood I need to clear the Control Blocks once again.

However, upon reaching the exit of Control Blocks I am unable to get to the Ruined Square

Tried another run of the Control Blocks and still unable to exit.
I am assuming that I am stuck.

Hover over the line between where you are and where you are going on your quest map.

as far as I understand the passage between Control Blocks and the Square gets blocked after you kill Innocence. Since you did not take the waypoint for the square, I assume you have to backtrack your way from the Chamber of Innocence...

My bad.
As Afghani84 mentioned I should have backtracked from Chamber of Innocence.

I was trying to get you to see that for yourself when you saw the text that the direct path was blocked :)
