I am still a bit confused on how incursions work
do I kill every monster in there? do i kill every monster and the architect or is there something more i need to do? I keep running out of time

Killing mobs increases the timer and they also drop stone keys that will unlock doors(red=locked,green=unlocked).Killing the Architects enables modifiers to the final temple much like the mods you get on maps.Kill the architec so you get the mod you want.The architec icon that has a upward pointing icon will upgrade it which upgrades the mod to a better one of the same category(breaches for example goes from just breach containers to an actual breach and then 3 breaches at level 3).You can actually checkout the room before going in so you can plan where to go.

Before you enter the incursion you should make a decision:
- Is the room the type of room i want? -- If so, upgrade it if possible by killing the upgrade architect -- If not, change it by killing the change architect - How is the room connected to other rooms? -- If it is not connected to the entrance and you want it to be, find the stone of passage and open the right door -- If it is connected to the entrance, can you connect it to a desirable room (high tier or nice mods)? If so find the stone of passage and connect it. -- Is the room centrally located and could it open up more rooms in the future? If so decide on which door is best find the stone of passage, etc. -- Does the room connect to apex? Connect it to the apex. Then decide which of the above objectives is most desirable; opening a door or killing an architect. Realize that you may only be able to succeed at one objective. For example: Alva may give you a hallway (no bonus room), and you may have the option to upgrade it to a T1 currency room, or a T1 weapons room, or it might allow you to link a T2 jewelry room to the entrance. You may decide that your primary objective is to make sure you can get to the jewelry room, and if time permits you want a T1 currency upgrade. Of note: some rooms have fewer connections than others, and by virtue of their location may be harder to access. A T3 room with 6 possible connections is easier to unlock than one with only 3 possible connections. Some rooms are worthless at T1 and T2 but are great at T3. You will find yourself making different decisions if you are facing your 1st or 11th incursion... |

Does changing a room retain the improvement? If I upgrade a room to III and then change it, is it the new room type at level III or I?

There are also cases where you shouldn’t kill either architect. If I have a couple incursions left and I get an empty room where both architects will just make the room harder and there’s no way I’ll hit the tier 3 room reward, I just kill the trash, open any useful passages, and port back out.

" From my few days of experience i can say that even for very slow builds incursions become really easy in later maps once you start alching your maps, because of all the map mods that let you add time easy (bloodlines / magic monster .. etc). I play with zombies and i have typically around 40 seconds left when i fully clear. (During levelling i had no chance though..) |

Hehe ok i hope that, all my friends rerolled to arc and they 1 shot everything with a 3 link (from level 1 -> to high level)
I try tonight else i will reroll 2 arc (if GGG really wants every 1 to play only arc we must obey) thanks for you tip ! |
