How to "end" an incursion temple with no boss?

And sry Im propably leaving my temple in question very soon =in minutes, but answers might help me and other confused new incursionist in the future :D.
So, sitting in my 1st temple here with a level 15 who just ran the Alva missions as they came, running around blindly/with no plan to get the thing to "temple"; got 2 room stones connected (I think) , and killed one architect.
Now, I`m inside the temple, have killed a couple of architecs there, cant find any more mobs after minutes of running around, nor any sort of loot or "closure" from Alva who is following me? Ive really no idea if I "completed" this thing or not, map just leads me to dead ends.

By the way as feedback to the devs, Im propably dum, too drunk after some ciders while leveling, unlucky or all, but hey; these things should be considered when designing this stuff :D!!

My temple was propably crap, but at least Alva should give me a hint to move on if I explored it all?

If you've killed all the mobs in the rooms that are opened and have dead ends leading to the other rooms then you're done. Portal out and try to unlock a better layout for the next temple run.

I had the same thing happen on my first temple as well.

For future reference - nothing special happens when you kill the Omnitect, either. You're free to stay or leave at your whim in either case, or even save up certain rooms for until you defeat the Omnitect.

It's pretty much the same as any Map, other then the process used to get there.

Once the area hosting the temple expires that’s it.

If you get explosive barrel dispensers you can open up more rooms.

Once I realized I didn't connect to the apex on my first and 2nd temples I kind of lost all motivation to do the incursions at all. For my style, this is one of the least enjoyable seasons so far.

there's a really handy map over your action bar... learn to use it. Learn which connections refer to which doors.

Since Alva appears in every area, you can just cheese a skip by walking into the time portal, then out of the time portal, for the Incursions, then walk into the Temple portal, then out of the Temple portal.

Honestly to me the boss is the least interesting part of the temple. So much stuff in the other rooms.
