Improving Trade
I'm tired of saying "sry i'm in lab"...
Could GGG put a small windows which allows us to discuss price and accept offers that will move items in remove only stash ? Shouldn't be a real pb as when people whisp us they got the item's location. It's same when you are running a tier 16 with lot of extra dmg and you have to lose a portal to trade... " This would make trading easier, thus give more trade, which is against GGG's policy as outlined in their trade manifesto: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2025870 | |
Enjoy giving up Atzoatl portals and having the other person go "nevermind, I whispered twenty people at the same time and am trading with one of those other people instead."

Dont sell crap.
If you do regret portal.. seems like this statement not applied ,) Also. I`m agree about lab. But seem like better strategy to get faster changes here for more convenient trade options is to have 10x tabs of yummi things with yummi prices and auto dnd option enabled with message "In lab, sry. May be tomorrow? Cus I got stacks of people to carry already." This will make community a lil more hotter about issue :D If enough ppl will do the same GGG will need to turn some attention on this. They can fix the stuff pretty quick if needed. Now its not. Last edited by DarkJen on May 30, 2018, 11:06:32 AM

could they? yeah, will they? no
its basically against their current ideology to make trading be anything other than a huge pain the the arse I dont see any any key!

Yeah i know they don't really want to improve trade ways
But just for labs maybe ^^ It's same when you want an item and have to whisp like 40 seller to get one "sold"... |

" but that would make trade less of a pain in the arse and their goal is to keep trade painful I know its dumb but what are you gana do I dont see any any key!

A few years back, this complaint came up in the early days of Labyrinth. GGG's response was one of genuine shock; after all, they don't play their own game, so they've never seriously dealt with trading. (they just spawn whatever items they need on their test accounts)
They promised an "improvement" for trading, that'd include the ability for two players to trade while not in the same instance; after all, Labyrinth was, at the time, their baby, and they wanted to not punish players for doing it. This was during the time Chris was talking about "the importance of player interaction," as if our gameplay experiences were enriched by copy-pasting a line from poe.trade. Since then, though, Chris did a 180°, dropped the line about "player interaction," and switched to "well, I want the game to be painful and slow, and I'm making the decisions, therefore I'm right." " This does sum it up. Though, I guess, we can hope that Tencent may force GGG to stop being so dumb about it?
