Preffixes cannot be changed+scour = back to magic item
so... i was crafting a claw, alt spammed 169% phys dmg (t2) with life gain on hit, regaled maximun mana yolo annuled the mana and put preffixes cannot be changed there, scoured it and i tought it will be 1 prefix rare only with the % phys on it but it went magic again, first time this happens to me, is that normal or a bug?

Normal. The item has to have two prefixes for prefixes can not be changed to not turn it back in to a magic item.
I did the same thing with this Luckily yolo Anull saved it. |

Like most people have said, it's normal. Scours will try to bring the item down to the lowest possible rarity they can, so when the result is an item with 1 mod it will become magic, as that's the lowest rarity that can have 1 mod.
If you want to get a 1 mod rare item, you can meta craft and scour an item with 2 prefixes or suffixes, and annul the item in a 50/50. If you don't want to go for the 50/50 chance, you can take your item and add "can have multiple crafted mods" to it. Then, craft "prefixes cannot be changed" and a random prefix. When you scour the item, the result will be a 2 mod rare with the prefix you had originally and the dummy crafted prefix. Remove the crafted mod and you get a 1 mod rare. It costs 4 exalts in total, plus another 2 if you want to multimod the item. Last edited by Shazamarang#3101 on Apr 10, 2018, 8:22:09 PM
