Rather than that, select "chaos orb" as your buyout currency and turn on "exact currency". That filters out all the people trying to abuse currency ratio differences to filter their items to the top of the search results. If you do want to farm Vaal orbs after all, consider running maps with divination cards that grant them - Vaal Payramid for example. There's also a vendor recipe (seven vaal skill gems plus a fragment), but you need a steady supply of Atziri fragments to keep it going. Just wondering - what are you doing that getting the fragments is your bottleneck? To my knowledge both come from the same places (Vaal side zones and corrupted map bosses), and you need 7 gems to one fragment. Plus there is Her Mask which drops everywhere like candy. That said, I do usually end up with more vaal skill gems than fragments. That's because the drop chances for fragments are uneven, so I put the ones that I have multiples of into the mapping device, and hop through vaal side areas this way. This either gives me the fragment I miss, or another fragment to chuck into the device, or a vaal gem. Since the vaal gems are the dead end in that procedure, they accumulate, albeit slowly. I know that you can use fragments to roll Vaal areas, I just never really do it myself. (Since, well, trading league.)
