Indigon and eldrich battery interaction
Hi,
This might be a noob question, but does Indigon work if you would spend energy shield instead of mana when you cast? Or do you have to use mana only to trigger the helmet effect? Would appreciate some enlightenment. Thanks in advance! Last bumped on Mar 18, 2025, 1:38:46 PM

No, I just tested this. Kind of makes sense, since you are not spending mana for your skill.
Maybe still potentially useful if it is only paying for part of the mana cost. p.s. I know this is an old thread but I still found this with google so I am gonna answer here for other people, Indigon is 30 div now so not easy to test. |

They are usually pretty specific with the wording. So by it specifying mana, in this case you will need to spend mana and not es or life.
If you have some sort of hybrid cost like above is suggesting it would count the mana proportion and work off that I believe. Or for example go through your ES from EB into the mana pool, it would kick in when the mana starts to get spent. Probably not very useful combination in most cases though.
