[ASS]Avian's Poem 3M DPS with Shaper.

Hi,To be clear, this build uses Glacial Cascade and Bladefall combo just like Mathil's one. I was playing around with Bladefall but when it comes to single target , I didn't know what to choose then Mathil's video comes up. That's a smart choice, no doubt about that. But since I'm a fan of DPS and softcore leagues, I'd like to share with you guys my version of the poem with medium budget and a lot of damage.
IMPORTANT: MY PREVIOUS CALCULATION IS INVALID. OUR BEST APS IS AROUND 4.4. NOT 4.55(ON UPGRADED VERSION). THIS IS BECAUSE SERVER PING ACTUALLY AFFECT THE COOLDOWN RECOVERY RATE SOMEHOW. WE NEED TO GO LOWER TO SATISFY HER(THE SERVER). [Pros and Cons]: Pros: _ Very high dps _ 8/10 for clear speed (maybe 9?idk) _ can do phys reflect maps( with taste of hate) _ Leveling is super fast ( I did through act 10 kitava in like 5.5 hours without rushing anything , the build is just fast) Cons: _ Not really defensive ( around 4k life) _ Need high combat skill for hard content because of no movement skills. _ Is not cheap. With this setup, My Frost Bomb is 22 mana cost perfect to trigger lvl 5 Arcane Surge , my frenzy is 0 MANA COST so I dont need to worry about mana. The one upgrade I want is Curse on hit Ring(or Elemental weakness curse on gloves lol). Which I dont need , But its an upgrade anw. ONCE AGAIN, WE DONT NEED 6L. Poet's pen mechanic for who didn't know:

And It's come in handy since we just need to attack to proc a spell in the weapon. This's how it works if you didn't know : When you attack, a socketed spell will be triggered and ignored its cast speed which has 0.25s cooldown and shared on both weapon's socketed gem. So when you Dual wielding them pens,We will need 2 different gems and they will be triggered at the same attack. We will need around 3.85 aps to fully taking advantage of them, not 4 because there is a little time for attack's animation.
I:Talking about the core items and playstyle: We will use these bad bois as our only choice : Poet's Pens with our main dps combo is : Glacial cascade and bladefall for bosses, or else just use Lightning warp and bladefall with spellcascade! And we will use Aspect of the Avian skill. What's that you ask?  So This skill is like an aura and you can get it by using Sawaqal's talons unique or a crafted item with beastcraft: How ever in this build I highly recommend to use the boots , besides the chest and gloves. Why? Have a look of them first:

The purpose of wearing: The chest: is to double the effect of the skill The gloves:is to adjust the effect time of the first buff of the skill ( we can maximize the avian's might duration with this item) The boots: is to adjust the effect time of the secondary buff of the skill ( we should minimize the avian's flight duration) And we can increase the buff'S DURATION by put in a increased duration gem on the boots. At a finest combo, we will have 10.5s Avian's might duration and 3.5s avian's flight duration instead of 4s for each one We will use Frenzy gem to gain frenzy charges, we will get power charges on critical strikes thanks you Assassin ascendancy. [Gear]: For Leveling :

We start with those til you can gear up : [ /||\ Tabula Rasa, Simple Robe] ( I dont have it now kek) Lvl 1->12: use fire trap and freezing pulse ( both equipped on lifesprig and link them with added cold+ added lightning when possible) lvl 12->lvl 17 : use Arc over Firetrap ( same setup ) lvl 18-> lvl 27: use frenzy+ faster attack as main attack from now on. Equip controlled destruction instead of added cold on Arc, same thing for Added light on Freezing pulse. You can now use either Herald of Ash or Ice. Or both kek. Equip Taste of Hate if you have it. lvl 28 -> 70-72: Now you can use the combo Bladefall + ctrl des+ Spell cascade / GC + Ctrl Des+ hypothermia. Remember to use Hatred from now on. 72+: Remember to buy gems at lvl 20/21 ( if you have the money). Theyre cheap but boost your dps to the sky. Upgrade your Rings and Amulet. Search for Nice jewel with Life + global physical damage. Use serious flasks. Lvl 90/92: You now can do everything except that Uber weird couples want us to separate them from each other. What a weird couples . lvl 100: Why are you looking at this, huh? What are you expecting lol, go outside and take a breath man. Youre awesome.
Endgame
Gem: Remember To adjust the level of Arcane Surge gem to be fit in 1 Frost Bomb cast, But Arcane Surge shouldnt be more than lvl 6. The rest is simple. Helmet: We need more attack speed so either Devoto's devotion or starkonja's head is good. Amulet: As much damage mod as you can: Shaped amulet with extra cold/extra lightning damage and multiplier.The best choice is When it equal to a nice amulet but It Blinds things. This will grant us 80% more chance to evade a hit ( check on Uber Atziri Video when I used it for Trio and Atziri herself. Didnt get hit...alot). Chest: Sawaqual's nest . You dont need 6link, it just more damage for higher outcome dps. We should get high mana reserve reduction. A 5link would be without Hypothemia gem. The rest is about balance the elemental resistances and survivability . flask: Taste of hate is a best choice for both offense and defense but not a must if you cant get one. Atziri's flask for leeching, more damage aswell. Boots: To gain Aspect of the Avian buff and adjust It's duration, mana reservation by gems. We need to get as much of decreased avion's flight duration as you can. Gloves: to gain more time for Avian's might. We should get high additional Avian's might duration here. jewel: We need more Life, damage is good enough : % increased maximum life % multiplier for spells % global physical damage % area damage % Attack speed if you are below 3.85. ( abyss jewel has a mod: increase ats if you have crit recently. This is good when combine with life and crit. Not cheap tho). % res if you need . [Invalid Recommence ]

Important: You need to get mana leech for attacks in jewel or accessory like mine on the ring for long fight mana sustain. No we dont need mana to cast poet's skills but we need mana to use frenzy charges and proc CoC with glacial cascade which deal about 25% of our damage.
You dont need phys attack damage mana leech, If you have mana problem, just take the First Node for mana leech near Essence Sap [Gear and tree for The Upgraded version of the build]:

For those with heavy bags of money, we can upgrade this build by upgrading the belt and must use a 6L: The important mod is : Increased cooldown recovery speed(max roll on belt is 20% with ilvl 84 shaper belts). This is a global mod.With this mod, our Coc gems, Poet's pen's gems will reduce there cooldown as well. So with max roll, your poet's pen now have 0.21s cooldown ( it should be 0.2 but idk why it is 0.21) and our CoC gem is 0.42s. We will now have to increase attack speed to around 4.45 aps. This is why we need a 6L to make it works. We replace Hypothermia gem for faster attack. The rest gear is the same: USE THE PANDEMONIUS - Amulet for main amulet if you can afford one, it's the perfect choice on this slot [Baisc Character Information]:

DPS of bladefall:  DPS of Glacial Cascade :  DPS of Coc Glacial Cascade (6l) on :  Those are stats on Shaper/Guardians while theyre not in lowlife. DPS calculate: since we have around 3.85 aps, that's 3.85 Glacial and Bladefall per second. Glacial Cascade will hit around 2-3times, so 2.5 in average ( at medium range which is perfect). Bladefall will hit 3 times if the target is right in where we point at. CoC Glacial cascade will proc 2/1 second ( we will crit enough for sure. We're assassins...) So dps will be (3.85*2.5*glacial dps + 3.85*3*bladefall dps + 2*2.5*Coc Glacial Cascadedps ) So my dps is : (1.153.873 + 1.127.372 + 681.195) = 2.962.440 Dps without Avian's aspect buff ( PoB is not supporting this buff currently which will add up more 20% damage. 4.55*2.5*GC dps + 4.55*3*bladefall dps + 2.38*2.5*CoC GC dps =>(1407326.375 + 1372985.25 + 602032.9) => 3382344.525 [Valid Calculation's Here]: The new dps calculator is : 4.4*2.5*GC dps + 4.4*3*bladefall dps + 2.38*2.5*CoC GC dps => 1360931 + 1327722 + 602032.9 => 3290685.9 This is Dps calculated on shaper not on full life nor lowlife, with one enemy around checked on PoB With the upgraded version, we have 15% more dps. Worth it or not, you can decide either way. Since we have more damage, I choose to lose some dps node for better defense option: phase acrobatics. New tree updated for level 92 below.  You can take more physical damage around shadow's starting point if you have enough ats( around 3.85) Bandit : alira. Or if you need more life, just kill all of them and get 2+ passive for more life nodes. [Passive tree for upgraded version]: From this level now on, you can either choose life near Ranger's path, or dps on Snowforged node, or just take that jewel socket near acrobatics. I'm trying to go with this build and I'm still level 65. Can I make it to yellow maps while still using Tabula? I currently am broke AF and can't afford a 6 link. My plan is to stack up currencies while still doing yellow maps.

i cant afford any of the avian stuff yet, but i have 4 poets pens. I was wondering which way you go first while leveling. do you go down the ranger side first? |

" I killed shaper 20 times before I built a stronger build( this build). Dont even worry about it .And you dont need 6L, it will boost your dps like 13% or something.
