Will Golden Spectral Throw MTX apply to Spectral Shield Throw?

At the very least, I would be happy to purchase a separate MTX for Golden Spectral Shield Throw if it were available.

No? It can only be applied to the spectral throw gem, and won't afix to spectral shield throw

because that's how the MTX mechanics work on gems, it affixes to the gem itself and only effects the skill gem it can affix to...there are a few aura ones to show this example, hatred, wrath and anger.
All of which have a themed skull MTX and those MTX can only be attached to the corresponding gem, you can't use the wrath effect on the hatred or anger gems even though they look the same and work on similar gems Ancestral Bond. " Totems all work the same. Except the Ancestrals. That's why you can't apply the totem skins to those (yet). Spectral Shield Throw works different than Spectral Throw. That's why the skill MTX can't be applied. It's not trivial to adjust the gfx like that. But rest assured you will see MTX for SST soon enough. It seems popular enough. "Into the Labyrinth!
