[3.1] Bobby's Poison Cleave JUGG [HC Viable | Video Guide | Tanky] Updated for 3.2!
Intro: UPDATE: This still works as intended in 3.2. No major changes to note at all other than the Ascendancy changes, which I've updated in the Path of Building link below. Cheers! Hey guys, Bobby Googus here with a forum guide for my Poison/Bleed Starforge+Impresence Juggernaut. This was an experiment to see how poison felt with some ridiculously GG gear. Long story short- it works well, but there are much cheaper builds out there. But THE MEMES MUST FLOW. Again- THIS IS NOT BUDGET FRIENDLY AT ALL AND PROBABLY CAN'T BE. Poison isn't in a good enough place to be able to pull off with budget gear (at least the way I'm doing it). You have been warned! Pros/Cons: Pros: + Poison. + Fast trash clear speed. Leap into a pack, swing once, and moonwalk outta there. + JUGG = Tanky. + Runs Arctic Armour = Tanky. + As long as you're careful (IE make sure you have your endurance charges), you can deal with reflect. + Completely obliterates Blue packs, Rares, Abyss, & Bloodlines packs. + We don't care about the Vaal Pact nerf at all. + Great movespeed, even better attack speed. + Freeze Immune. Cons: - Poison. - Occasionally bossfights can be slow, because everything in the game apparently now resists Chaos. - Way too expensive. But memes. Damage: Because people like staring at numbers. NOTE that these are 100% accurate- this is a snapshot with my current gear/tree/passives. Imported the character and snapped it as-is (meaning I didn't craft unobtainable mirror rares and sneak them in). Offensive Mechanics: • Cleave AoE clearing. • Starforge DPS lul. • Almost 8 attacks per second = lots of poison stacks. • 100% chance to bleed. • 100% chance to poison. Defensive Mechanics: • Large life pool. • Maddening Presence from the Impresence amulet slows and reduces enemy damage. • 7 Endurance charges (you could get more through some corruptions as well). • Permanent Fortify thanks to the Cleave threshold jewel. • Some evade because why not? • Lots of armor. • Freeze Immune. Cleave (in order of importance): Cleave - Multistrike - Poison - Deadly Ailments - Unbound Ailments - Vile Toxins If you don't like Cleave, any red gem will work here (or green gem if you want to re-color things). Movement: Leap Slam - Faster Attacks We don't need fortify here because the Cleave threshold Jewel gives us Fortify on hit. Curse: Blasphemy - Despair Our Impresence amulet makes this reserve 0 mana. Auras: Haste - Arctic Armour Haste lets us stack our poisons faster. Arctic Armour lets us more reliably face-tank most bosses. Golems: Whatever you want, I run a Stone Golem because I like the regen, and it dies a lot less than the others. Defensive: Cast When Damage Taken - Molten Shell - Life Gain on Hit - Vengeance Immortal call eats up our 7 Endurance Charges constantly, and I much more value having the Charges than I do Immortal Call, which is why I don't run it. Alternative Gear Options: Abyssus is about all I can come up with here. Some GG shaper/elder items would probably be fine as well. Flasks: I wish I could tell you that Sin's Rebirth is overkill....but it's an enormous DPS increase. It's extremely expensive. SORRY! Jewels: Life (flat will net you more life once your tree is filled out), flat phys/chaos damage, increased Damage Over Time. Mechanics/FAQ:

Run up to a pack of monsters, swing once or twice, turn 360 degrees and moonwalk out of there while everything dies to DoT damage. Q: Is this build fun? A: Yes. Q: Is it expensive to gear? A: Yes. Like, way too expensive. Don't build this unless you want to partake in some succulent, juicy poison memes with me. Q: I don't like Cleave/Jugg/2 handers/expensive builds. A: Then build something else. Q: How would I do that? A: Plan a tree, level a character, get the items, link the gems, do the damage. Q: Will you play it again? A: No. Too expensive for my tastes, I enjoy building budget builds and pushing them to the limit, but I'm very glad I made this character to experiment with the current state of poison! Q: Do I have to play a JUGG? A: No. I like the tankiness, but you could build this as a Berserker, Slayer, Raider, Pathfinder, Trickster, or Assassin. Leveling a Poison Character:

Don't be crazy! Level with <insert your favorite leveling skill here> and a normal dps setup (melee phys, faster attacks, etc.) and swap to the poison nonsense once you can actually equip both the Impresence and Starforge. I love Cleave, so I leveled with that. Passive Tree:

Finished Tree: https://goo.gl/iEBi4h Path of Building Links: Current character- https://pastebin.com/WmWzRC0L I've actually decided against posting leveling trees here, because it really depends on how early you choose to use a sword/2hander. Well, that's about it! I hope this at least helps point you in the right direction. Poison is very fun to play, but to be honest, it isn't in the greatest spot right now, which is why it takes an enormous gear investment to make it viable. Give it a shot and let me know what you think!
