[3.6] Low Life Volatile Dead Elementalist Poet's Pen - Guardians/Shaper/Elder/Uber Atziri/HoGM - RIP

Hello I am Devillian and it's my another build in Abyss (You can check my profile for others).

You all know that Volatile Dead is really powerful skill and people were making the volatile build since the league start but I wanted to make something with Low life and destroy all the game contents with it. So I decided to make with elementalist because of the reduced elemental damage taken and penetrations.

let me explain the build with more details.

Change Logs
- 19/01/2018: Changed the passive tree regarding of 3.1.2 patch notes (Volatile Dead now displays average damage, rather than damage per second.).
- 20/01/2018: Leveling points and description added.
- 27/01/2018: Ascendancy order added.
- 28/01/2018: End Game passive tree changed. Now You are also immune to physical reflect damage.
- 18/03/2018: Changed some mechanics based on v3.2 and Improved total damage output.
- 09/04/2018: Gem Setup section is more detailed now.
- 24/02/2019: Build updated for v3.6
- 6/3/2019: This build is no longer viable after PP nerf. Sorry guys.

Introduction

Pros:

- Fast Clear Speed

Cons:

- No Leech and Hexproof maps is a little bit difficult to complete but still viable

Trying it out now and having great success with it, it's very fun and in my opinion not that terribly slow. Proving difficult to get the helm enchant though!

Hello Epsynus,

Thank you for trying out the build mate. Helmet enchant is the most difficult one to get unfortunately.
Set your alarm on poe.trade for the helmet until you get your level. Once you find the helmet (i bought my helmet for 5ex btw) you can start to try shaper and his friends.

hi, I'm following ur skill build. but now i already lvl 70. but i feel cant handle tier 4 above. do you mind let me know is it my skill tree have problem. besides, i know that my equitment still not reach. please can u let me know what's the problem about my character..

Doing a similar LL build but with Occultist. You need to get your attack speed under 4 APS, you're wasting a lot of DPS where it currently is.

Because the skills cast by PP have a 250ms cooldown, you want your attack speed to be just under 4 or just under 8. Anything in-between and you're wasting a lot of DPS.

Keep this graph in mind:



Keep in mind that with server lag/frame lag included you don't even want it exactly at 4 APS, ideally you have it around 3.8-3.9 APS to ensure that you don't miss a cast.

Thanks for the graph mate. I know PP has 250ms cooldown and over 4 APS just waste of points if you are only thinking of VD damage but I am not mate. All my Attack speed passives gives me cast speed or movement speed as well in order to use Lightning Warp efficiently but you are right, you can feel free to remove those passives and take more spell, ele or fire damage in passive tree as your play style.

Sure but your character tab is invisible mate. You need to make your character tab public in order me to see your build.
