Screen issues (bug or graphic card problem?)

Hello

From time to time I'm encountering problems with graphics. It seems that it has something in common with auras as it appears when there are many people (or even just me) with auras on. Sometimes it happens when there are no auras too. Restarting the game temporarily helps. I'm encountering this problem from when I replaced my old graphic card. I will try to provide as many info as possible to solve the problem. Thank you in advance for any help/suggestions.

If it is happening over time after launching the game it's most likely to be a heat related issue to some of the components in your machine.

I would start by checking the temps of your GPU and HDD/SSD along with your CPU to start with. You can monitor them while playing to see if the graphical issues start once a certain temp is hit. If that is the case then you'll need to see what you can do to bring down the temps either by cleaning out dust or changing the arrangement of your fans on the PC.

Max values are quite decent imo. Additionaly I've noticed something like that:


It happens from time to time in hideouts, when there's no action at all - temperatures are quite low: ~35*C on CPU and 48*C GPU.

It started with 3.1 and im using Mathil's frost blades/molten strike build. Im not sure if it only happen with frostblades. Hatred and Ice Herald are on. Playing windowed fullscreen. Will check temperatures.

Looks very similar to my problem. And I've experienced this with hatred aura a lot. Now I'm running different build and this "disco" issue appears more rarely.

Happened again.. Logged in. Did all master's daily quests, spent some time afk (~15min), then started Atziri's sets. At 5th got effect from 1st screen:

When frenzy charges have expired everything went back to normal, then I have attacked (got new charges) and it has shown again..

Second screen is in 6th Atziri instance. I couldn't play, so restarted the game client and surprisingly it helped. Ended 6th and 7th without problems. I think I tried to restart game the last time and it didnt work that time, but was playing with a friend and today I was solo.. Don't know if this matters..

Same build, didnt have this problem since the last time.

Did you try to reinstall the game? Maybe that would help.

I've been having the same issue for some time now with my Radeon RX 580 video card.

I get the first image from your imgur post randomly and have to close my client or switch to another character to finish the map.

I've noticed it only happens on my Raider builds that use wrath. It is random when it starts but I noticed last night for the first time that it will stop when phasing wears off and the screen will appear normal but as soon as I attack something and get frenzy charges up and start phasing again the screen will go all blue/white again.

I switched to my Inquisitor when it happened last night to finish the map and had no issues. In fact the entire time I've played ANY other ascendancy I've not had this issue now that I think about it.

I've been searching for info on this issue for awhile, at first I thought it was something specific with AMD GPU's and have been tweaking the settings left and right. This is the first time I think I saw someone say they have had this issue with NVIDIA GPU. My temps are all in normal operating range for CPU/GPU and I have been monitoring those.


As for the light/disco issue in hideout, I only get it when I use one of the darker tileset like Library but never have it on the beach tileset that I use on std.

If someone found a solution. I have this bug in 1050ti
